Letter from the President:

    Our 2011 Annual Meeting was held on a beautiful southwest Florida December day.  Owners returning proxies and
    Owners in attendance represented 342 unit/weeks.  

Highlights of the meeting were:

2011 Accomplishments

  • One barbeque grill was replaced.
  • The spa was resurfaced and upgraded to comply with new regulations.
  • Kitchen tables and chairs in the penthouse units have been replaced with a freestanding kitchen cabinet.
  • The popcorn coating on unit ceilings has been removed in all but 4 units.
  • Unit door and window screens will be replaced.
  • All bedspreads have been replaced.
  • Dining tables and chairs in all units have been replaced.
  • The engine on boat #3 will be replaced before year end.
  • A new boating information video was made.
  • The dock will be repainted.

2012 Projects

  • Bedroom chairs in the penthouse units will be replaced.
  • The vertical blinds will be replaced with drapes.
  • Bedroom carpet will be replaced as needed.
  • The emergency generator will be repaired or replaced.  
  • The Board will continue to review options to add a pool/spa lift to comply with new ADA requirements.

      Year-end financial projections indicate that operating expenses will be in line with budgeted amounts.  Expenses
related to delinquent fees will be more than budgeted even though our collection rate is at an impressive 96%.  Reserve
expenses are in line with 2011 projections.  
      There are 8 Association owned unit/weeks.  These are being offered for sale at the very low cost of $750 per
unit/week or $1,000 for two weeks.  Call Terry at 239-992-0221 and get them while they last!


      The owners reelected Jim Barrie, Jacquie Lenard and Ed Madge to the Board of Directors.  The officers remain the
same with Art Skrivan as President, Jim Bridges as Vice President and Jacquie Lenard as Secretary/Treasurer for
2012.
 Thank you to all Owners who submitted their resumes to volunteer their time for the Association!

      Thank you to all owners who help maintain our resort by paying Association fees.    Please let us know if you have
any suggestions or questions.  

There is a new, Owner and Guest friendly, procedure for replacing boat gas.  A standard fuel cost is charged so you
don’t have to worry about filling up.  We handle that for you!

WEEK 53 UPDATE:  December 31, 2011 to January 7, 2012 is
Week 53, 2011.  The Board has approved a rental rate reduction for
Owners who reserve a one-bedroom unit.  
The new one-bedroom
rental rate for Owners is $650 plus tax for the week.

Owners can contact the resort for information or reservations.   Any
remaining available week 53 units will be placed for rent to the
general public at the going rental rate of $1,110 plus tax.  Non-owners
can contact VRI Reservations at 800-874-8770 to make a reservation.
